Speaker Announcement: Minister Ossian Smyth

We are pleased to announced that Minister of State at Government of Ireland Ossian Smyth will be a keynote speaker on day one of SBD Innovation Summit 2024

About

In July 2020, I was appointed as Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform with responsibility for Public Procurement and eGovernment and Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications with responsibility for Communications and Circular Economy. I served as a Councillor on Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, and served as Cathaoirleach of the Council between 2018 and 2019.

Before stepping into politics, I worked as a technical Project Manager in Saint Vincent’s Hospital and have volunteered as a mentor at a local CoderDojo, teaching young people computer programming and other technical skills.
