Climate Action Week Event in SBD with DLRCC: Empowering Businesses for Climate Action

Dún Laoghaire - Rathdown County Council is pleased to announce its ‘Empowering Business for Climate Action’ event which will be held during Dublin Climate Action Week 2024 with guest speaker and MC, comedian and author Colm O’Regan, in Dynamic Space in Stillorgan Business Park, from 10am to 12.30pm on September 10th.

Speakers at the event will demonstrate the critical role businesses and local governments play in shaping our future by reducing their impact on our climate. Special focus will be placed upon the increasing importance of collaborations between businesses, stakeholders and local government to achieve the Council’s Climate Action Plan 2024 - 2029 targets.

This interactive event will provide an opportunity for businesses to network with large, medium and small-scale businesses, local government and education boards within the county, share their climate stories and learn from each other. The topics covered will include; the climate challenges businesses face today and strategies to overcome them, changing cultures within organisations, supports available to businesses and working together to build a climate resilient future.
