Today we hosted our Breakfast Networking Event: “Bridging the Gap: Empowering Women in IT, Finance and Beyond” in collaboration with GBTech

Our fantastic panel was moderated by Cathriona Hallahan with Marisa Ronan, PhD, Renata Covisi Pereira, Mike Murnane and Louise Porter

We heard how powerful different perspectives in businesses can be and that it’s often better not to have all like-minded people on your team. The importance of greater inclusion of multifaceted skillsets in contributing to a business’ success. The panel further underpinned the need to be truly inclusive and how the onus is on leadership teams to create a culture to ensure differences are encouraged and heard.

Favourite quote of the day: “When we lift up women we lift up communities”!

Fantastic too, to have an almost full house for this event (in spite of Storm Agnes!) and the opportunity to meet new businesses and build connections.
