Parks, Playgrounds and Plazas in Sandyford Business District

Working with DLRCC we have created a number of public parks, plazas and a playground in the District, perfect for keeping kids active or enjoying lunch away from the desk.

Blackthorn Park, located across from the Beacon Hospital on the corner of Drummartin Link Road, is right beside Naomh Ólaf GAA Club and features a walking/running path
around its perimeter along with a children’s playground.

We have also introduced several pocket parks and plazas with canopies, picnic tables, and benches, ideal for relaxing, enjoying a coffee, or spending time outdoors at lunchtime.

You can find the pocket parks on Bracken Road (D18N2Y3), Overend Park (beside Mastercard), and two newly opened locations on Arkle and Ballymoss Road.
